
Another week gone
Well, I'm happy to report that this week has managed to stay pretty much on plan (hallelujah). Monday and Tuesday I got back into the studio to finish off colouring the Snatchabook series and I'm relieved and ecstatic to finally be able to say it's done and dusted. Best Laid Plans Of Mice and Men
This week has not gone to plan! Instead of finishing off my Snatchabook colouring I've been confined to the house, looking after a sick (but feeling fine and still bouncing) child. However, the unexpected time away from college has given me the chance to do something I've never done before - play with the hand coloured image in photoshop. To date I'd been unsure what colour would best enhance the wings for my snatchabook so I loaded a photo of the half finished image and went

Slow Going
It's been just over a week since the Snatchabook shoot and already the images are burned onto my retinas! At what point I decided that hand colouring three matching images of a library was a good idea I'll never know. The main issue is that I have to work on all three images simultaneously to ensure the colours on each one remain as close as they can to its sister images. I want them to be as identical as they can for continuity reasons as I don't want the background pulling

Back In The Studio
This week saw me heading back into the studio to create the images for the 'Snatchabook' book. Monday morning rolled around and after not much sleep I loaded up the car and dragged in as many props as I could.
